Traveling Barber & Beauty Shop was Developed in 1994 by Founder, President & CEO Dr. Richard McNeil.
Dr. McNeil has a Ph.D. in Business Management. He is also a Licensed Barber & Beautician Manager.
Dr. McNeil discovered a need that needed to be addressed by a company that was willing to travel to a variety of public and private facilities to provide in-house hair services.
Dr. McNeil initially worked in corporate America after graduating from college. At the same time, Dr. McNeil had dreams of becoming a professional hairstylist and developing a first-class hair service company. With hairstyling being one of his many God-given talents, Dr. McNeil started pursuing his dream.
Traveling Barber Shop started out as a part-time venture that he pursued in addition to his corporate job. His vision was to put dignity back into the barbering & beauty profession and use his corporate experience to develop a first-class professional hair service business.
The demand for the services of Traveling Barber & Beauty Shop grew so rapidly that it necessitated the hiring of several licensed and experienced barbers & beauticians to handle the demand. Dr. McNeil strongly believes and promotes to all barbers, beauticians, and staff at Traveling Barber & Beauty Shop, what you put into the business is what you will get out of the business. Hard work pays off!
To this very day, Traveling Barber & Beauty Shop, Inc holds many records: Most heads cut in one day by a single barber or a group of barbers, Most Licensed Barbers & Beauticians working for the same company for over 28 years.
